One of my favourite things......

........is a lovely cuppa tea!
Its well known among my family and friends that this is my favourite tipple - the only time I refuse is, if I am ill!

This weeks challenge on SSC is to make something other than a card, and I suddenly remembered I had bought several canvas's and easels the last time I was at the Range - I was gonna do allsorts of inky things with them and had not got round to it yet!

So I combined the two thoughts!

My son saw my creation earlier and said " put it up every time you want a cuppa Mum and I'll get you one!"  (sits down in shock).

Anyhow I think it will go to live in the kitchen - too cute not to!

Ingredients:
House Mouse, Feeling Rosy stamp
Image and canvas covered in  Distress Inks
Distressed the rim with Distress Powder (Faded Jeans)
Flower, handmade - as is the paper (covered roughly in Distress ink and then over stamped with flourishes) I punched them out of!
McGill flower punch  Floriano Flower
KurePunch Medium - Heart Petal Flower
Pearl from Kanban.

Well, back to the work thing tomorrow!
Work hard everyone!!!!! LOL

Sunday Sketch and Stamp 11

Where has my Joie de Vivre gone? I have not wanted to "craft" all week!
Mind you, this week is up there with "most stressful" of weeks and I have to admit I'm exhausted - and its not over yet!
And the main cause of it all - bureaucracy!
Anyhow enough of my whingeing!

OH came home from work yesterday, creeping and crawling - he had forgotten his bosses birthday and asked if I would make a belated card for everyone to sign!
Probably just what I needed to de-stress a little.
So here it is - I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp who are also in Pink Petticoat heaven!
All papers are from Pink Petticoat, as is dig-stamp - coloured with chalks and lots of glamour dust!
I love making my own flowers - great way to use up bits or paper!

Here's hoping the week eases off!

Sketch Saturday 68

This is my card for this weeks Sketch Saturday.
I love these digi-stamps from Pink Petticoat - this young lady is "Cupcake"!
I coloured her with chalks and then sugar coated her with Glamour Dust.
Papers are BG, Indian Summer.
The flowers I made from paper leftovers - ended up taking much longer than I had first thought!!

Nighty Night, off to solve a murder with Miss Marple!

Spent up! And PBSC 66

Well - the Great Northern Papercraft Extravaganza was sooooooooo busy - a lot more than the last two times that I have been! And it was soooo hot today!
I didn't stay long - the majority of the stands are in the same place each time - I had a list and off I went and did manage to get most things on it - with a few extra stamps (Tim Holtz Christmas ones and a Whiff of Joy :-)) and ink pads (distress inks - well they were on spec)!

- oh........ and glitter(stickles for Chrimbo)!

- oh....... and paper...... and card (Craftwork Cards, Blonde Moments)!

- and ...........some charms(Hobby House for Chrimbo and Halloween)!

- think that's it!

LOL

I made this card this afternoon for the PBSC, using the sketch that they had provided.
All papers and sentiment are from Pink Petticoat, stamp is from Penny Black, Joyous, flowers made from paper left overs!

Off to watch the X-factor!
