My favourite colours!


Have had a great time making this card!
I followed the colour scheme on Colour Create - HOT PINK, DUSKY PINK, ICE CHOCOLATE.
and the sketch on Sketch Saturday, they also have a theme of "Pets" this week, since they have two prizes!

Materials used:
DP's -K&CO Madeline by Brenda Walton

Stamp - Sugar Nellie, Purrfect Playmates
Flowers - Prima
Sentiment stamp  -Simon Says Stamp.

Another weekend just about over - we postponed "family" night until tonight since we partyed at the wedding yesterday.
So, Sunday Dinner followed by lots of trashy TV - love it!

It should, also promise to be an interesting week!

In a Christmas Mood!


My thoughts are gradually turning towards preparing for Christmas!
I am going to make an effort to get away from its' commercialism but I think that may be difficult to do 100%, but, hey I can try!
Anyhow I made this card this morning and have entered into 3 challenges
Simon Says Stamp - which is to use the colours red and green
House Mouse Challenge - which is to use buttons and
I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

Ribbon and Buttons in stash!

This weeks challenge at PBSC is the theme Autumn Breezes - well, Halloween popped into my head again!

A Couple of Challenges


Love the template on Create 4 Fun Challenge this week.
Just great for a friends birthday this month, filled with goodies!
I have used the colour scheme on this weeks Papertake Weekly Challenge , Black and White +1.

Handmade flower - this was great fun - tutorial here scroll down quite a bit - entry is dated 12th Sept.

On another note  - we're off to a wedding party this evening - I have just found out that the card I so lovingly made wont fit in the envelope -  Umph! Stupid!
Off to improvise!

Oh Messy Day.........

I have managed to create this - it wasn't planned or even thought out!

I just sat down and made a rite good mess with glimmer mists, inks, embossing powders and me lovely new Tim Holtz stamps!
I have entered this creation into this weeks SSC which is "Tag, you're it!"

New Challenges!


I have found two new (well they are new to me!) challenge blogs on  t'internet. I dont want to get stuck in a rut with the same ones each time, and I do love to try anything new!
Septembers Get Funky challenge is to make a boy themed card, and that fits in perfectly with Jakes Dads' birthday!
I used the wonderful sketch from ICS.
