I think I've used a few!!!
All card stock and stamps are from Craftwork cards - this set of stamps are great - soooo glamorous!
Papers are from Polka Doodles CD, Jingle Jangle - I know, I know - they're Christmas Papers - but hey - artistic license and all that!
Gems and ribbon were in my stash - my neat and tidy stash I might add (for now anyhow)
In fact, and here's a confession - I've tidied up so well I cant remember where I've put the envelopes!
I'm sure I'll have an Eureka moment at 2.30am!

Hope everyone had a great Bank Holiday!

Just a quickie today - life has been very stressful these past few days - so much so I didn't even have the mojo to be creative!
Anyhow yesterday a friend asked me to make a card for her God-Daughters birthday, so I sat down and made this, I thought lets make it simple but once you start...........
Now, I know its not a card but I thought it was very girlie.
I hope she approves otherwise its back to making her a card!
All papers and embellies are from Polka Doodles CD's - Candy Doodles and Jingle Jangle.

Off to visit my mother...............we're shopping!!!!

No Day Off For Me Then!!

~~~I have blog candy on offer, especially for anyone who loves stamps and cupcakes, please click my blog header if interested!~~~
Well, so much for my promised day off to craft!
I spent the morning washing the walls in the hall and then cleaning up the wood on the landing floor (its a good size!) ready for staining!
One of the cats, Midge (seal point Siamese in picture) has had such a good time on the wooden floors, running and jumping about just like Pepe Le Pu with his tail up in the air, I think he enjoys the sound of his pawsteps on the hard floor - very funny! It sounded like a herd of elephants from downstairs!
I am exhausted!
In fact its easier going to work! LOL, but don't tell them that, its our secret!
We have stained and varnished the floors this afternoon, and in between drying times I have managed to make this card- I had to bring supplies down into the dining room to do this - upstairs is sooooooo out of bounds!
The cats are all being catsat - I have two asleep in the rocking chair in the dining room and the rest are entertaining teenage son in the kitchen!
I'll be glad when its done!
I have entered this card into two challenges, Polka Doodles which has a great sketch to follow and Stamping for the weekend which is to use the colours pink and grey!
Papers all from Polka Doodles Candydoodles and Sugar Birdies CD's, stamps used are MME, Bloom and Grow, and Simon Says Stamp, Sentiments.
Tomorrow is another day, a crafty one I hope!!!!!! [hysterical laughter]
Keep well
What is a week off for?
Well, we are decorating, the hallway and upstairs landing, and I have to admit, I HATE IT and, so do all the cats, their world has been disrupted. There is a cubby hole at the top of the landing where their beds are and these have had to be moved, this equals 6 not happy at all cats and they are very vocal with it!
Consequently I have not had as much time as I had originally planned this week to play, so I have stomped my feet and had a hissy fit and I have now been assured that I can have the day off tomorrow!!!!
We'll see!
Anyhow I have managed to sneak off this afternoon and make this card for Stamptacular Sunday Challenge which this week is 3D. I decided to try my hand at a pop-up card, I kept it simple as this was a first for me!
This is the front on the left and
this is the inside.
Stamps used - Penny Black, Neighbours, letters and words are from Dimension Fourth.
All papers and stampies are from Polka Doodles CD,s Candy Doodles and Sugar Birdie.
OK - off to make my presence known!
Still fettling........
..........I thought it wouldn't take me long to tidy up my craft space - how wrong can you be!
Its still in progress but at least I now have space to create - and more than I had before - still, I managed to spread out into it whilst making this card!
I have entered it into 3 challenges:
PBSC - to use stitching somewhere on your card
SS - sketch is here - great sketch!
Basic Grey - to use the colours pink, yellow and brown.
I used papers form BG Stella Ruby, the stamp is PB Love Nip, flowers are from Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is American Crafts.
Onward........still loads to do!
Have a great Sunday everyone!
I'm having a fettle....
My crafty space is a mess - I share a room with teenage son - he does homework (supposedly) here, but since he finished school I've kinda taken over!
So, sleeves up, duster out and OMG I've got tooooooooo much stuff!
Found things I had forgotten about - had a bit of a "stroke" at some lush paper, drooled over some lost stamps, and in between all this I had a mini-adventure finding Craftwork Cards who were having a Summer Fun day - and of course nearby is the Range...........ever growing stash just got bigger!
The gist of this is I wanted to offer some Blog Candy - I noticed the other day I had gone over 2,000 hits - Now I know that's not much compared to a lot of peeps out there but to little old me it is!
Watch this space - when I finally finish fettling! (Barnsley term - so the girls at work tell me!)
Have a great weekend everyone!
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge 19
This weeks challenge is :
"3-2-1"
a project that uses THREE brads, TWO different pattern papers, and ONE flower!
Well I am fed-up of making cards (never thought I would say that!) this weekend so decided to try something different.!
So here's a bird house
- the papers, the template, the flower and the stampies are all from my new and much cherished Candy Doodles CD - Nikky if you ever read this - it is one of the most wonderful Cd's I have in my collection and def. will be ordering the Christmas one!
The brads are front and back (hearts)
and holding on the cherries at the front, 2DPS - one for the roof, the other for the body of the house and one flower on the side of the roof! Incorporating the brads was a toughie!
The stamps are from U-Mount Cupcakes (cherries) and the wording is from Elusive Images Oliver Twitter available at Graphicus.
What fun - I will be making another - so easy to do!
Polka Doodles Challenge 7 August
This weeks challenge is a sketch!
Very round - am not good at round I have to say but I had a go and this is what I came up with using the Sugar Birdies CD.
I decorated the inside too and left my "mark" at the back!
The flower designs on the CD are great!
I used a circle compass cutter on a square card and on the papers - am not that brill at keeping the "thing" still in the centre - and then you have to cover the hole!
Still - it was a sharp learning curve!
Sleep time!
Night all
Wedding Gift Card
One of the girls at work is getting married next weekend and has asked for money contributions towards her honeymoon.
So a whip round is underway and I have been asked to make a gift card to put the Euros in .
So here it is!
I decorated the inside too, and put a large blank so that everyone could write a message!
Am loving these My Minds Eye papers and decoupage - and I'm not much of a decoupage girl - would rather play with my stamps any day! But these are a little different and great fun!
Bit of a squeeze doing this in the week, but really enjoyed doing it
Until the next time
Keep well everyone, SuzyX
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge 18
This weeks theme is childs-play!
Each week the theme remind me of some object/stash that I have bought thinking "that'll come in useful for such and such" - you know the kinda thing!
Anyhow, I have remembered some jigsaw blanks I bought at Clarity stamps in June , the idea being to make a friends daughter one for her on her birthday - well lets do it now!
She is such a girlie girl and very pink - so here you are Sarah, just for you!
Of course I am still in love with my cupcake stamps and have had a wonderfully messy day colouring in, and spraying glimmer mists - def. got pinky fingers now!
Papers used - DCWV, Stamps used are U-Mount, Cupcake, coloured with a mix of cosmic shimmer paints, glimmer mists and Marvy pens! I then sprayed it all over with a thin layer of varnish to seal it!
Yum Yum Yum
Of to make cake!
Cheerio for now
