This crazy life!

Firstly I want to give a HUGE apology to all those of you who visit and all those I visit – this crazy life of mine has taken over and just for now I really have not had the time to leave you all comments – although I do try and fit in a few sneaky peeks of all your blogs when I have a spare moment!

So here’s a big comment to you all –

“I have, and do love all your work, you keep the crafty fires burning for me, so thank you all.”

The good news is that its nearly Easter and my work schedule SHOULD ease off! Fingers crossed!

I did manage to sneak away to the Great Northern Papercrafts Extravaganza on Saturday morning in Harrogate, and managed to grab a last minute place on the early morning workshop with Dyan Reaveley from Art from the Heart. Wow – the energy she has – and early on a Saturday morning too!

I’m the one in green at the end!

Note to self – must download Dyans’ digital images!logo - new main -

Here’s what we made using the new Distress Inks and Dyans’ images and although I didn’t do a great job with the rub-ons, I am liking it!

So, when I got home I used up the remaining materials that were in the kit and made this one too, it now needs one more and then it might have pride of place in my home – provided my Mother doesn’t “borrow” it first!

I have also had a stab at making this tote – great gift idea!

Papers are all a free download from Pink Petticoat and the template is from here! Check ‘em out, there's some great papers at Pink Petticoat and some fabby templates at AR Crafts. Thanks to both :-) I had a great time!

Oh, and as usual I was “helped” by my feline assistant – Marius!

I subscribe every month to Scrapagogo’s greeting kit, and it duly arrives package in a “pizza” type box with a huge paper bag inside – ummmmmmmm guess who has helped me unpack it???

Who needs expensive toys?!!!!!!!!

Have a great week everyone – can’t believe its Spring already! ;-)

With love

In love with House Mouse!

So much so I bought these decoupage sheets from Joanna Sheen – I really don’t do decoupage where a pair of scissors is involved!

However, he’s such a cutie that I couldn’t resist and despite a few expletive deletives regarding tails, I really love how they have turned out!

Of course next Sunday is Mothers Day so this one is for Mum.

I used the sketch on Sketch and Stash

I am also entering this card into Simon Says Challenge ,Lily Boo Too Challenge ,My Time To Craft, C.R.A.F.T Challenge -which are all to make a Mothers day card.

Papers are all DCWV – Latte stack

The next card I have made I am using as a Birthday card using the sketch from Our Creative Corner.

I am also entering this card into Creative Crew Challenge which is “Celebrations”, and Crafty Calendar Challenge – “Flower Power”.

All Papers are from Anna Griffin.

Ok, well another week over – where are they going??

Work hard everyone – I am!!!!! LOL(hysterically)
