Stamptacular Sunday Challenge 14

This weeks challenge is "Christmas in July"!

Appropriate since I was considering starting the mammoth task of making Chrimbo cards, its just that its sooooo hot at the moment I was having problems finding the inspiration to get going!

Well here's something blue and frosty in an attempt to cool us all down, a wall hanging for the 12 days of Christmas.




Had a wonderful time making this! Lots of colouring in, spritzing with glimmer mists and embossing!

Papers used, I think are from Papermania that I had left over from last year, stamps are Penny Black, 12 days of Christmas, snowflake stamp, I think is a Papermania one!

Home.....

Its good to be home - well it was when we pulled into the drive!

Opening the door came the sudden realization that those "wonderful" cats of ours had managed to trash the place in our absence!
No - we didn't abandon them, we did have someone come in to feed, clean and play with them, but as cats do they had totally taken advantage of the no "parents" around situation!

So Marigolds on its taken me a good few hours to clean the place and I had to listen to their constant mutterings - probably saying "that'll teach you to leave us for a week..."!
Still love 'emm though!

We had a restful week in Scotland, staying in a luxury lodge - didn't cook once!


On the way back home we called into Graphicus who are having an open day today and yesterday - Paul fell asleep in the car while I rummaged, watch loads demos and then spent £XXX on stamps! ;-)

For my other half.........

Here we are on holiday in Scotland, seeking peace and quiet and what do I want to do? - a reccie of all the craft shops in the area!
So in honour and acknowledgement of what I am expecting my other half to do I made him this card!

At least it made him laugh!!! (hysterically or otherwise!)

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge 13

This weeks challenge is themed Party Animal, to include a picture of an animal!
Well - what a challenge, I am on holiday in Scotland, with a limited craft stash (yes, I did bring stash on holiday - is that devotion or is it just sad?) fortunately I have brought some cat stamps with me and some papers - so this is what I have done for this weeks challenge!



Cat Stamp used is from Little Clare's, Basic Grey for the stamped flower and Hero Arts for the sentiment. Papers are from Papermania.
PS another challenge was finding somewhere with a WiFi so that I could post this - how sad am I!!!!! LOL

Two challenges in one card!

Wow - what a busy busy week its been!
Work was full on, by the time it got to Thursday Evening I was exhausted, so much so, that any "colouring in" has had to wait until today.
So, because time is in short supply I have combined two of my favourite challenges, Colour Create and Sunday Sketch and Stamp. Plus I needed a RSVP for a wedding of a dear friend of mine!

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge 12

I have been asked to make a card for a friends birthday - a difficult one as she is no girlie -girl!
I have used this weeks challenge from Stamptacular Sunday - red, white and blue and a star too - to make this card.

Graphicus June Challenge.

This months challenge at Graphicus is to use the colours hot pink and orange!
I have been slowly working on this all week and finally managed to complete it this afternoon - I spent the morning at Stamp Magic in Doncaster :-) and had a thoroughly good shop, comments were made about the number of heavy bags that came home with me!!!!!

Papers are from Artylious Damask CD and the stamps are from the May Guild stamp set, "Bird Song" and the inner sentiment is from the" say it with words" stamp plate.

Roll on next weekend - we are off to Bonny Scotland, with the intention of calling in at Graphicus Open day on the way home! Excited or what!
