This weeks challenge has a wedding theme - very timely since two of my friends are getting married soon!
Here's my card:
The stamps are from the English Stamp company and have been embossed in silver and the paper is Basic Grey.

Having treated myself to a new stamp plate from Design House called C'attitude, I have used this weeks sketch to play with them!

Pauls ## Birthday!

Today is my OH, Paul, birthday.
The weather is glorious, and so we went visiting family and to pick up a car for him - his old car literally went up in a puff of smoke, last weekend!
Hes like a kid with a new toy - offering to go here, there and everywhere - will make full use of this whilst it lasts! After all I am a devious, and manipulative female!
Here is the card from me, lovingly handcrafted,

and this one is from my son - Jake I accept payment in the form of several cups of tea on demand!

Better late than never!

Not had the best of weeks - that's another story - so am a bit later than I would have liked to have posted this. However here goes - this is my entry for the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #8, on a favourite subject of mine - Chocolate!
The stamp was from the Craft Stamper Magazine - sorry don't recall which issue and the papers are from Craftwork cards - really yummy chocolate papers!
I used liquid applique for the chocolate buttons!
Hope everyone is enjoying the glorious weather, and remembers the suncream - oh and the best place for your chocolate in this heat is in the fridge!

Graphicus, May Challenge

Here is my entry for the May Challenge - using the colour blue and/or the theme travel.
I found this a bit challenging - I have no idea why! In the end I wanted to make a card fora dear friend that had a certain message to send so decided to combine this with the "blue" aspect of the challenge! Love working with stampbord and, at the mo have a bit of a thing for flowers - Summers around the corner!

A Doubler!

Time, unfortunately is short this weekend and the work thing gets in the way during the week, so I decided to combine the wonderful sketch on Sunday Sketch and Stamp with the beautiful colours on Colour create.

Here is the sketch:

And the colours provided by colour create are lemon, pink sorbet and chocolate (yum!)

The image is "Moon Beam" stamp from Sugar Nellie @ Funky kits - one of a few new purchases!

I think I need to improve my photography skills - the photos of the cards never look as good as they do in "real life"! Any suggestions most gratefully welcome!

A Sunny Bank Holiday - now theres a change!

Have had a few traumas this weekend and the glorious sunshine meant crafting activities were delayed!

The image (stamp from Craft Individuals) was stamped over paper that had been first sprayed with pink and gold glimmer mists (unfortunately you cant see that too well in the photo, but the do glimmer beautifully!)- I cant remember where I got the papers from - but have used them again for another challenge - they are gorgeous!

Here's my Penny Black Saturday Challenge week 50, and its all to do with buttons! Oops - haven't got many of them, so I worked the theme around the buttons I had!
Good fun though - I hope people find the card is too!

I received some new stamps in the post today from Funky Kits!
They are gorgeous, cant wait to play!

What a busy day!

And somehow I've managed to cook a very good (even if I do say so myself) Sunday Lunch for my family. They're all napping now!!
I came across this challenge on my travels in cyber space - Sunday Sketch - and thought why not combine this wonderful sketch with the great colours from Colour Create and so doubled up the challenge!
Here it is again!
TTFN - until next weekend - that W thing gets in the way during the week!

...and still it rains.....

..so lets enter another challenge! LOL
Do I need to get a life? Who cares - I'm having fun!
Colour Create have put together three wonderful colour combinations, Sky Blue, Tan and Ecru - I will definitely use this combination again.
The DT cards are amazing, I could look at them all day!

Sketch Satuday Challenge

Here's another first for me - been a busy afternoon!
Think a lie down is in order! LOL
My other half has a birthday coming up soon and he is a keen golfer (understatement!)
So thought I would use this weeks sketch to make him a card!


Have had a lovely messy time and now have inky fingers - good stuff ;-)

Time to try my hand at a few challenges!!!

Decided that one of the ways I can try and learn new techniques and push myself out of my comfort zone was to try a few challenges!
The first one to catch my eye was the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, especially since I seem to be developing a mild addiction to their stamps!
So today's challenge is :-

And since I absolutely adore cats here's my entry, using the new Purrfect clear stamps.

Busy Busy, Busy!

Well, my new stamps arrived - Penny Black (of course) T-transparent cat ones - Purrfect Day!

Unfortunately, I have not had time to play, as in a mad moment, I decided to have a clear up/out of my crafty area!
Its still in progress!
Have also (sadly some would think - my family do) - decided to catalogue everything in the move around - OMG its amazing how much I have, and the stroking of paper has delayed the tidy up - I have some beautiful things! The ones I have, lets say, matured of ,are going to another home where I am sure they will be used and appreciated more than I have!

So its chaos here at the moment but I am sure it will be beneficial to my crafty mojo!

On another note, after spending my short lived crafting life dissing fairies I have suddenly developed a taste for them and have made a few cards - my family are in a state of shock - they have had to hear my expletive deletives on fairies every time they appeared on either TV or in a magazine! Oh well we all grow and change!

The first Entry!

Decided it was about time I put something into this blog!

Having reviewed a lot of the things I have made it has become quite apparent that I love Penny Black stamps - they're soooo cute, and now have noticed that there are some new ones out - oh gosh more goodies to tempt me!
Keeps the flame alight though!
