Stamptacular Sunday Challenge 17

This weeks challenge is "Inside - Out".

I suddenly thought of a blank paper mache book that I have sat on the shelf in my little hide away, just the thing for this challenge!
It has taken me all day, I might add, the family have not really seen me except to wash the mess off my hands, brushes, mats, sponges and anything else that got in the way!
Its quite an Autumnal look - sub-consciously I think the bad weather has affected my choice of paint and paper!
I used Anita's Antique white acrylic paint to cover the whole thing and then distressed the box with inks and metallic wax.
The papers used are from K & Co and the flowers and leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The stamps are from Graphicus and are Elusive Images, Tall Trees stamp plate and the butterflies are from Clarity Stamps.
My little butterfly chipboard is ScarpFX - beautiful chipboard products - Graphicus sell them too!

Well, thats the weekend over, the "W" thing tomorrow - keeps me out of the shops though!
although not quite true - the internet is open anytime!!!

TTFN - everyone have a good week.

After seeing these gorgeous cupcakes in and around blogland I just had to get the HOTP template to make them myself!
Well............I am soo female - the spatial logic of putting them together threw me - it took me the best part of the morning to work it out, even with the aid of the online video for HOTP!!!!!
Anyhow here it is and now that I have the knack guess what people are getting for pressies!!!!!
I do so love cupcakes - yummy!

Found this challenge blog today and after all the stresses of the week so far, I decided I needed to relax and be creative with this sketch that they have challenged.

My Altered Heart..........

Here is the result of the mess I made last night - see the previous post!
This was a paper mache heart box which I painted in a metallic pink paint and then, - well the original plan was to spray it with glimmer mist (purple pansy) but it ended up being painted instead!
I stamped and embossed the side and top, put a layer of glossy accents in the bottom, sprinkled diamond dust and decorated with flowers and "fluff"!
Stamps used are from Elusive Images, Delightful Damask and Harlequin Rose
I have decided to enter this into the Graphicus July challenge which is to use two colour harmony - I hope I interpreted this correctly! If not it was still fun to make - if not a little messy!
I also saw the Charisma Cardz Challenge in my blog hop today, which is to alter something and decided to enter this into their challenge also.

I now have purple fingers.......

Last night I needed to craft - work had been so stressful I just needed to relax!
However crafting when tired is probably not a great idea - I was altering a heart box, it was painted a beautiful metallic pink and then I decided it needed to look a little more distressed, so out came the glimmer mists.
Well the spray was blocked, but not to be deterred out came the brushes but, then I accidentally knocked it over - OMG purple everywhere, over my hands, my PJ's and my craft mat, I have to say, is now an absolutely gorgeous and glamorous glimmering purple!
Time for bed I think!
Photos will follow when this object d'art is finished!
LOL.

Have a great day everyone!

Never turn you back on 8 cats.........

I left them alone for 5 minutes, and yes I should know better by now, but in my absence look what they did! (by they , I mean those wonderful cats of mine!)

Anyplace is a bed - how did they manage to open the drawers under the bed!?

In fact I fear a conspiracy as this is what they did to my kitchen cupboard, they decided it needed re-organizing!

Maybe I should change my blog name to Crafty Cats and Suzy!
