House Mouse 50

I have fallen in love with this little cutie, so I decided to have a go at a House Mouse challenge!
This weeks challenge is to make a :

Gift card Holder.

Here's mine - hes just so cute with his jelly beans!

I found a tutorial on You Tube that explains how to make it - real simple!

The only gift card in the house, to make sure I had got the dimensions right was a "Game" one - its a masculine household (apart form me of course) and doesn't really go with the card I made but needs must and all that!
Papers used - Papermania Signature, Regency
Stamp used - Mudpie Holds Jellybeans
Flowers are from Prima.

Well, its back to work tomorrow - kinda glad, at least the decorating is finished and I can get back to some sort of normality!

Hugs

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge 22

Here's my entry for this weeks SSC.
The theme this week is:
Scallop Mania!
I think I've used a few!!!
All card stock and stamps are from Craftwork cards - this set of stamps are great - soooo glamorous!
Papers are from Polka Doodles CD, Jingle Jangle - I know, I know - they're Christmas Papers - but hey - artistic license and all that!
Gems and ribbon were in my stash - my neat and tidy stash I might add (for now anyhow)
In fact, and here's a confession - I've tidied up so well I cant remember where I've put the envelopes!
I'm sure I'll have an Eureka moment at 2.30am!

Hope everyone had a great Bank Holiday!

I saw this challenge from Create 4 Fun on blog buddy Penni's site and decided to have go myself - thanks Penni!
I used the sketch from PolkaDoodles to decorate the front.
All papers/card and stampies are from Jingle Jangle CD from Polka Doodles (I am def. loving these CD's, they are so versatile) , snowflakes are from K&Co, ribbon in stash!
I will def. make these again - what a great idea for a Christmas gift filled with homemade goodies!

Just a quickie today - life has been very stressful these past few days - so much so I didn't even have the mojo to be creative!
Anyhow yesterday a friend asked me to make a card for her God-Daughters birthday, so I sat down and made this, I thought lets make it simple but once you start...........
Now, I know its not a card but I thought it was very girlie.
I hope she approves otherwise its back to making her a card!
All papers and embellies are from Polka Doodles CD's - Candy Doodles and Jingle Jangle.

No Day Off For Me Then!!

~~~I have blog candy on offer, especially for anyone who loves stamps and cupcakes, please click my blog header if interested!~~~
Well, so much for my promised day off to craft!
I spent the morning washing the walls in the hall and then cleaning up the wood on the landing floor (its a good size!) ready for staining!
One of the cats, Midge (seal point Siamese in picture) has had such a good time on the wooden floors, running and jumping about just like Pepe Le Pu with his tail up in the air, I think he enjoys the sound of his pawsteps on the hard floor - very funny! It sounded like a herd of elephants from downstairs!
I am exhausted!
In fact its easier going to work! LOL, but don't tell them that, its our secret!
We have stained and varnished the floors this afternoon, and in between drying times I have managed to make this card- I had to bring supplies down into the dining room to do this - upstairs is sooooooo out of bounds!
The cats are all being catsat - I have two asleep in the rocking chair in the dining room and the rest are entertaining teenage son in the kitchen!
I'll be glad when its done!
I have entered this card into two challenges, Polka Doodles which has a great sketch to follow and Stamping for the weekend which is to use the colours pink and grey!
Papers all from Polka Doodles Candydoodles and Sugar Birdies CD's, stamps used are MME, Bloom and Grow, and Simon Says Stamp, Sentiments.
Tomorrow is another day, a crafty one I hope!!!!!! [hysterical laughter]
Keep well
What is a week off for?
Well, we are decorating, the hallway and upstairs landing, and I have to admit, I HATE IT and, so do all the cats, their world has been disrupted. There is a cubby hole at the top of the landing where their beds are and these have had to be moved, this equals 6 not happy at all cats and they are very vocal with it!
Consequently I have not had as much time as I had originally planned this week to play, so I have stomped my feet and had a hissy fit and I have now been assured that I can have the day off tomorrow!!!!
We'll see!
Anyhow I have managed to sneak off this afternoon and make this card for Stamptacular Sunday Challenge which this week is 3D. I decided to try my hand at a pop-up card, I kept it simple as this was a first for me!
This is the front on the left and
this is the inside.
Stamps used - Penny Black, Neighbours, letters and words are from Dimension Fourth.
All papers and stampies are from Polka Doodles CD,s Candy Doodles and Sugar Birdie.
OK - off to make my presence known!
